The Bass Mountain is one beast of a pedal. I tap on 9 string guitar and needed a Rat flavored pedal with a clean blend to retain clarity. Also appreciate the clipping options as LED is my favorite. The sounds I get are gnarly and powerful without getting too mushy.

Architect of Reality – I discovered this pedal, originally because I was looking for that Black Sabbath/Tony Iommi tone and, based on several reviews, the AOR, came out on top. While it delivered that as I hoped, holy shit, is it so much more! I’m still at the tip of a sonic iceberg with this thing, but it’s clearly become one of my favorite distortion pedal.

Bass Mountain is my favorite distortion pedal. It has a lot of tones, from rumbly and thunderous to fuzzy and saturated, even sputtery, and everything in between. Another version like The Mountain, I’m grabbing it without thinking twice. Four Horseman Massif is a very loud little angry box. It’s an amazing fuzz. That one knob really has a bunch of tones hidden inside.
